I have used many flash card programs and apps, including Anki. I keep going back to WinFlash. If you want a basic flash card, get WinFlash basic. The Educator version is as sophisticated as any, It got me through law school, a second law degree, Spanish, and I still use it for learning something new. Its only drawback is that it is not a web app and the interface is dated, but it works.
